“In the slaughterhouse of love they kill only the best, none of the weak or deformed.
Don’t run away from this dying.
Whoever is not killed for love is dead meat.”. RUMI
I pay homage and my deepest gratitude to my grand parents, George Maiger Ramoriting Tsuari and Dorah Nomasonto Tsuari, who so generously donated their genius genes to their descendants, without whom I wouldn’t have made it to Medical School despite all odds.
My paternal grand parents George Mashiane and Martha Botipe Mashiane.
My parents, both teachers, Sizana Muriel Tsuari and Jafta Sello Mashiane. My genius uncles who schooled me, Kobuoe John Benjamin Tsuari and Neo Tsuari.
To my teachers and mentors, who left an indelible mark on my life and career path. Mavungwini, the greatest scientist I ever knew, Mr Theophilus Morare, Dr Opitz, Professor Ramaranka Mogotlane, Dr Theo Human, Dr Johan Pentz and Dr Kobie van der Merwe, my surgical proctor.
To the first black IVF Specialist, Dr Herman Nditsheni Netshidzivhan, a pioneer, ahead of his time. A gifted Fertility Specialist and giver of life. He opened doors and indeed the possibility that a black doctor like me can be part of a select group of Fertility Specialists in this country and the world over. He will be remembered for his legacy and contribution to the Fertility society and all the families that he helped raise. I am honoured to be part of the Fertility clinic he started from ground up.
